| From San Francisco, take Highway 101 through
Cloverdale. Turn left on Highway 128 and travel west to Highway 1. Go north
7 miles to Mendocino, take the first turn into Mendocino. Travel time from
San Francisco is approximately 3 1/2 hours, unless you choose to enjoy
the coastal Highway 1 route all the way, which takes approximately 5-6
hours.
From Sacramento, take Highway 80 to 101 then as described above.
Or, take highway 20 through Lake County. At Highway 101 go north
to Willits, under the arch then turn west on Hwy. 20 towards Fort Bragg.
When you get to Hwy 1, turn south for about 7 miles. Turn right at
the light, then left on School St. School St. dead ends into the
front of the Nicholson House. Travel time from Sacramento is about
4 hours. |
